National Executive Director of Communications
HACEMOS is proud to announce Tia Ford as our new National Executive Director of Communications. Tia has been with AT&T for 8 years and has served as a member of HACEMOS for the last year. She works diligently to bring life to our mission prioritizing community, corporation, and employees. Fostering an environment for her team, colleagues, and friends that encourages diversity of thought, cultural awareness, and inclusion. Tia is passionate about people as a key component of purpose, prioritizing challenge, development, and balance in the lives of everyone she connects with.
Tia has been recently promoted into the Learning and Development organization as a Lead Learning and Development Strategist where she will lead projects addressing development opportunities for consumer organizations and work with partners to create content to bridge those gaps and improve the internal and external customer experience.
Tia is a full-time student in pursuit of her bachelor’s in business from the University of Phoenix. Tia is currently on the Dean’s List, and a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, the Golden Key International Honor Society, the Honor Society Org, and the Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society. Tia is a 2023 MDP Participant, soon to be a graduate!
Tia has held roles in both the consumer organization and learning and development. Tia has spent a large percentage of her career in sales operations, customer advocacy, and most notably her leadership in our employee groups (oxyGEN and HACEMOS).
Tia has collaborated with the Regional Presidents and the National Board with HACEMOS prior to the acquisition of this role through our grant writing committee, our 35th-anniversary gala planning committee, and through communications and fliers for many events.
Tia is passionate about creative expression, equality, representation, and fighting for positive change.
