SVP, Prepaid Wireless Portfolio – AT&T Prepaid & Cricket Wireless
Over the last four years, the AT&T Prepaid Portfolio, which includes Cricket Wireless, continued to outpace its peers through Q1 2020, serving more than 17.8 million customers nationwide (including IoT). The prepaid team focuses on delivering world class service, reliability and value for no annual contract wireless customers. Additionally, the Cricket brand has ranked highest in five of the last eight eligible J.D. Power studies.
Prior to leading the prepaid business, John led the customer experience effort for AT&T Mobile and Business Solutions. He also led the retail sales operations team and served in several sales and customer service leadership roles at AT&T, Cingular Wireless and Pacific Bell Mobile Services.
John is passionate about youth development and programs that take innovative approaches to educational transformation. He serves on the executive board of directors for Junior Achievement of Georgia, the Board of Directors for 3DE, the executive committee for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and the Boy Scouts Atlanta Area Council.
John earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing at the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in finance at the University of Chicago.
A proud resident of Atlanta, John spends his time outside of the office with his wife and two children.
