Alex Barreto

Alex Barreto serves as the CEO of HACEMOS, AT&T’s Hispanic/Latino employee resource group, where he leads as a philanthropic and visionary leader dedicated to empowering members, developing future leaders, and creating lasting impact in the community. With over 20 years at AT&T, including leadership roles in customer advocacy and program management, Alex has cultivated a deep passion for service, mentorship, and driving meaningful change.

 

Born in Connecticut and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Alex’s journey reflects the values of resilience, hard work, and integrity. His professional path includes roles as a Sales Coach for U-Verse Home Solutions, a Retail Sales Consultant, and a Lead Project Program Manager at Cricket Wireless, where he spent 10 years championing customer success. Currently part of AT&T’s Office of the President, Alex leverages his expertise to advance HACEMOS’ mission of empowering individuals and strengthening communities through impactful programs and initiatives.

 

As a proud husband and father, Alex draws inspiration from his heritage and his family. Under his leadership, HACEMOS focuses on leadership development, scholarship opportunities, and advocacy programs like High Tech Day, which work to bridge the digital divide and provide critical resources to underserved communities.

 

Outside of his professional endeavors, Alex enjoys road trips with his family, discovering new restaurants as a self-proclaimed foodie, and savoring his favorite meal, arroz con pollo.
